NVDi Software...

NVDi has produced everything from simple mailing list templates to real-time process control software. That being said, our primary emphasis has always been on practical solutions to problems, rather than on software development. But if a custom package is the best solution, we'll provide it.

Here are a couple of our meteorological programs -- one fairly simple, one fairly complex -- that are available on the Internet:

WX KitThe WXKit Package, currently under development, is a set of utilities that are useful in meteorological and climatological applications. It includes a set of conversion utilities for the units most commonly employed in synoptic observations, a group of programs for calculating factors which are derived from these observations, and applications which produce information about solar and lunar motion. These programs can be run individually or they can be invoked with the WXKit Program Launcher. Shareware. WXKit requires Microsoft Windows 3.1x or later.

FastRSFastRS is a fairly simple program that calculates sunrise and sunset times for the period of the Bahá'í Fast for virtually any place on the globe. Once you have entered the necessary information for your locality, FASTRS writes the sunrise/sunset table to a text file. "Fundware" from North Valley Digital. FastRS runs under MS-DOS. A Windows version is in the works.
